MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I teach Spanish to all ability levels and use a student’s prior knowledge to bridge the gaps when necessary. 

 

As much as possible, I abstain from speaking English and drive home the commonalities between Spanish and English. 

 

There are thousands of cognates between Spanish and English. Similar grammar structures exist too. 

 

Learning a new language should be fun and I utilize props, songs, and literature to reinforce my teaching.
